Sage Outdoor Advisory is the leading expert in outdoor hospitality consulting and appraisal in the Americas. Ms. Heilala and her team have completed over 300 feasibility studies and appraisals in the outdoor hospitality sector. Her firm has developed the largest proprietary database of glamping businesses to provide data driven analysis to support expert guided investment decisions in the industry. Ms. Heilala was recently chosen as a speaker at the Glamping Show USA and the Canadian Outdoor Hospitality Conference and Expo, sharing her expertise on feasibility studies for glamping resorts. In 2022, she was chosen to present at the national Appraisal Institute meeting as a subject matter expert on the topic of valuation of outdoor resorts. Her firm is a designated “Top 50” service provider by the American Glamping Association. She is also a certified instructor at the Glamping University in the USA. Ms. Heilala is a member of the Appraisal Institute and brings over 30 years of experience in the commercial real estate industry. Shari has her undergraduate degree in Business from the University of Wisconsin – Madison with a double major in Real Estate and Finance. Ms. Heilala attended Northwestern’s Kellogg School for Management and holds her Masters of Corporate Real Estate from CORENET global. She has worked both nationally and globally in the industry.
