This Privacy Notice describes how Over the Pond Media, LLC d/b/a  Glamping Show Americas  (“the Glamping Show”, “we” or “our”) collects, uses and discloses the information we collect about you when you interact with our website www.glampingshow.us/ (“Site”).  We use our Site primarily to promote, and facilitate registration for, our dedicated trade events for the glamping industry held in the United States and/or online (“Events”). In addition, we use our Site to promote our glamping industry and Events insight offerings through providing opportunities to subscribe to our mailing list and the International Glamping Business Magazine (“ePublications”).

We are committed to be transparent about the data we collect about you, how it is used and with whom it is shared. This Privacy Notice also explains your choices and rights have regarding your personal information. By using our Site, you agree to be bound by this Privacy Notice and consent to our processing of information as specified therein.

1.What Information We Collect and How We Collect it   

Information You Provide Directly

Personal Information: In general, we collect information from you when you voluntarily provide it, such as:

  • When you contact us through our “Contact Us” form on the Site, or send us an email, we will collect your full name, email address and any other information you voluntarily provide us in the content of your message in order to respond to your communication;
  • When you register for our Events, we will collect your full name, company/employer name, state, country, email address and any other information you voluntarily provide us in the content of your subscription request.
  • When you subscribe to any of our ePublications, we will collect your full name, company/employer name, state, country, email address and any other information you voluntarily provide us in the content of your subscription request.

Payment Information: If you register for our Events, as an attendee or exhibitor, a fee may be required.  If you choose to pay fees through the Site, we use Authorize.net to process your credit card transactions. Authorize.net’s privacy policy will apply to payment information processed through our Site. You must be 18 or older to authorize a purchase through our Site.

Information Automatically Collected Through Your Use of the Site

We may automatically collect non-personally identifiable information about you—such as an IP address, device type, device ID, Internet service provider, general location information, page views, a date/time stamp, browser type, referring/exit URLs, search terms used on our Site, operating system, and similar device and usage information— when you visit our Site. For more information, see the "Cookies and Similar Technologies" section below.

 2. Cookies and Similar Technologies         

Cookies

A cookie is an alphanumeric identifier that your internet browser places on your device so that it can be recognized when it returns in the future. We use cookies and similar technologies to make it easier for you to navigate our Site, enable a faster log-in process or to allow us to track your activities while using our Site. Most browsers automatically accept cookies, but you can usually refuse cookies, or selectively accept certain cookies, by adjusting the preferences in your browser.  If you turn off or refuse cookies, there may be some features of our Site that will not be available to you, and some portions of the Site may not display properly or be less personalized.

Do-Not-Track Signals

Your browser may allow you to set a “Do Not Track” preference. We currently do not respond to “Do Not Track” or similar signals.

3. How We Use Your Information   

We use the information you provide directly primarily to fulfill the services you are requesting, including subscribing to our ePublications or registering for our Events. We may also use this information to contact you regarding our Site. 

 The information we collect automatically is used primarily to help us understand and analyze trends in connection with usage of the Site. We may also use your data to detect and prevent issues relating to security and fraudulent activity, consistent with our legitimate business interest to prevent such issues. In addition, we may use your information to customize content we may send or display on the Site to personalize your experience and assess, improve and develop our Site, business, and professional offerings, and for similar research and analytics purposes.

Where permitted by applicable law, we may also use anonymous, de-identified, or aggregate information that does not reasonably identify you for any purpose.

We do not sell your personal information under California or Nevada law, which defines certain disclosures of personal data for monetary or valuable consideration as “sales.”

4. Who We May Share Your Information With

In general, we only share your information as follows:

To Our Service Providers: we may share your information with third parties who provide services to us, such as website analytics companies, hosting and cloud computing service providers, and payment processors. Our service providers only access, process or store your information to perform their duties to us.

With our Affiliates, Related Companies, and Business Partners: the Glamping Show partners and collaborates with Upgrade Publishing Ltd, and its partial owner Swan Events Ltd, to provide glamping industry insights to their users. For example, we jointly publish a quarterly digital magazine called “Glamping Business Americas” with Upgrade Publishing Ltd. In general, we share your information with these companies in order to provide you with the services you are requesting, such as subscribing to our ePublications or registering for our Events, and to provide you with glamping related marketing information we think may be of interest to you.

Business Transactions: we may share your information in connection with a corporate merger, consolidation, restructuring, sale of certain of our ownership interests, assets, or both, or other corporate change, including without limitation, during the course of any due diligence process.

Required By Law: we may share your information when we are required to do so by law, such as to comply with a subpoena, bankruptcy proceedings, or similar legal process, or in response to lawful requests by public authorities.

If we would like to use your personal information for any purposes other than those described, or as otherwise permitted under applicable law, we will obtain your prior consent.

5. Children’s Information   

Our Site is designed for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly process personal data of any under 18, and should we become aware that any personal data is stored regarding a child under 18, we will follow our internal processes to delete this data in accordance with your data protection rights as soon as is reasonably possible.

6. Hyperlinks on Our Services     

Our Site may contain hyperlinks to websites operated by others whose information practices may be different than ours. Visitors should consult the privacy notices of any other website they are redirected to from our Site as we have no control over information that is submitted to, or collected by, these third parties.

7.Keeping Your Information Secure          

We use reasonable, standard administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your personal information from loss, misuse, unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction of your information. However, no method of Internet transmission is completely secure and we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

8.  Storage and Processing of Your Information in the U.S.

We control and operate our Site from the United States.  Our Privacy Notice and practices are governed by the laws of the United States and the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, which may differ from privacy laws in your state or home country.  By submitting your personal information to us through the Site, you consent to the transfer of your personal information to any country and its use and disclosure in accordance with applicable U.S. Federal and State laws and with this Privacy Notice.

9. How Long We Keep Your Information

In general, we will only retain your information for the time necessary to realize our legitimate business purposes and to comply with the law.  We may retain your information prevent, investigate, or identify possible wrongdoing in connection with our Site or to comply with legal obligations. We may also maintain residual copies of your personal information in our backup systems. Please note that businesses cannot remove ratings, or reviews from the data we retain by closing their accounts.

10. Your Choices and Rights 

You have several choices regarding the use and disclosure of your information:

Information You Provide. With respect to the collection of your information, if you do not want your information collected, please do not submit it to us. If you have already submitted information and would like to review, correct or remove it from our records, please contact us at info@glampingshow.us.

Marketing Messages.  We may send you marketing communications, about our services that may interest you.  You can opt out of our marketing communications at any time by selecting the “unsubscribe” link in the e-mail or contacting us at info@glampingshow.us. Please note that some non-marketing communications are not subject to general opt-out, such as communications relating to services we are providing you, sales transactions, and other support related information.

Cookies.  If you wish to disable cookies, you can set your browser not to accept cookies as described in the section entitled “Cookies and Similar Technologies.”

*Rights for Nevada Residents: Under a Nevada privacy law (SB 220), certain Nevada residents may opt out of the sale of certain categories of personal information.  As of the effective date of this Privacy Notice, we do not sell any type of information covered by that law.  However, if you are a Nevada resident who would like to opt-out of any future sale of your information in the unlikely event we change our practices, you may do so by contacting us at info@glampingshow.us. Your request must include your full name, street address, city, state, zip code, and an email address so that we can contact you if needed to verify your identity and the authenticity of the request.

11. SMS PRIVACY POLICY

This SMS Privacy Policy (this "Privacy Policy") describes how we at OVER THE POND MEDIA, LLC ("OVER THE POND MEDIA, LLC", "we", or "us") collect, use and disclose your personal information in connection with your use of the services to receive short message services and/or multi-media services for marketing and non-marketing purposes from us through the Constant Contact, Inc. platform ("SMS Services"). This Privacy Policy is strictly limited to the SMS Services described herein and does not relate to the collection or use of personal information through any of our other services. In addition, it has no effect on and is unrelated to any other privacy policy(ies), if any, that may govern the relationship between you and us in other contexts. Please read this Privacy Policy carefully. By enrolling in, using or accessing any of the SMS Services, you agree to the collection, use, and disclosure of your information as described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to this Privacy Policy, please do not use or access any of the SMS Services. This Privacy Policy is incorporated into our Terms of Service covering SMS Services.

Your use of the OVER THE POND MEDIA, LLC ("OVER THE POND MEDIA, LLC", "we", or "us") services to receive short message services and/or multi-media services ("Messages") for marketing and non-marketing purposes from us through the Constant Contact, Inc. platform (the "SMS Services") is subject to these SMS Terms of Service (these "SMS Terms"). The SMS Services and our collection and use of your personal information is also subject to our SMS Privacy Policy. By enrolling to use, using or accessing the SMS Services, you accept and agree to these SMS Terms and our SMS Privacy Policy.

SMS Services Description: We may send marketing and non-marketing Messages, through the SMS Services which may include transactional Messages. Marketing Messages advertise and promote our products and services and may include promotions, specials, other marketing offers, abandoned checkout reminders and other relevant information. Transactional Messages relate to an existing or ongoing transaction and may include updates and other transaction-related information. Messages may be sent using an automated technology, including an autodialer, automated system, or automatic telephone dialing system. Message frequency will vary. You agree that we and our third-party service providers may send you Messages regarding the foregoing topics and that such Messages and/or calls may be made or placed using different telephone numbers or short codes. We do not charge for Messages sent through the SMS Services but you are responsible for any Message and data rates imposed by your mobile provider, as standard data and Message rates may apply for short Message alerts. We do not share text message opt-in consents or related mobile telephone numbers with third parties, except with our service providers and vendors to provide our SMS Services.

Eligibility: To receive SMS Services, you must be a resident of the United States and 18 years of age or older.

User Opt-In: By providing your mobile phone number to us, you are voluntarily opting in to the SMS Services and you agree to receive recurring Messages from us at the mobile phone number associated with your opt-in, even if such number is registered on any state or federal "Do Not Call" list. You represent that any mobile phone number you provide to us is a valid mobile phone number of which you are the valid account owner or authorized user.  If you change your mobile phone number or are no longer the valid account owner or authorized user of the mobile phone number, you are responsible for notifying us immediately at kevaleen@glampingshow.us. You agree to indemnify us in full for all claims, expenses, and damages related to or caused in whole or in part by your failure to notify us if you change your mobile phone number including, but not limited to, all claims, expenses, and damages related to or arising under the Telephone Consumer Protection Act. Your use of the SMS Services is not required to make any purchase from us and your use of the SMS Services is completely voluntary.

User Opt-Out and Support: You may opt-out of the SMS Services at any time. If you wish to opt-out of the SMS Services and stop receiving Messages from us, or you no longer agree to these SMS Terms, reply STOP, QUIT, CANCEL, OPT-OUT, or UNSUBSCRIBE to any Message from us. You may continue to receive Messages for a short period while we process your request and you may receive a one-time opt-out confirmation message. You understand and agree that the foregoing is the only reasonable method of opting out. If you want to use the SMS Services again, just opt-in as you did the first time, or text START to a Message sent by us, and we will start sending Messages to you again. For support, reply HELP to any Message from us.

The SMS Services may not recognize requests that modify the foregoing commands, and you agree that we and our service providers will not be liable for failing to honor requests that do not comply with the requirements in these SMS Terms. We may also change the telephone number or short code we use to operate the SMS Services and we will notify you of any such change. You acknowledge that any requests sent to a telephone number or short code that has been changed may not be received by us and we will not be responsible for failing to honor a request sent to a telephone number or short code that has been changed.

Disclaimer of Warranty and Liability: The SMS Services are offered on an "as-is" basis and may not be available in all areas, at all times, or on all mobile providers. You agree that neither we nor our service providers will be liable for any failed, delayed, or misdirected delivery of any Message or information sent through the SMS Services. To the fullest extent permissible pursuant to applicable law, we are not responsible and will not be liable for any damages of any nature, including without limitation any incidental, special or consequential damages (such as lost profits or lost business opportunities), punitive damages or attorney's fees.

Modifications: We may revise, modify, amend, suspend or cancel all or any part of the SMS Services or any of its features at any time, with or without notice. To the extent permitted by applicable law, we may also modify these SMS Terms at any time. Any such modification will take effect when it is posted to our website or websites associated with the SMS Services. You agree to review these SMS Terms periodically to ensure that you are aware of any modifications. Your continued use of the SMS Services will constitute your acceptance of those modifications or changes.

12. USE OF PERSONAL INFORMATION FOR SMS SERVICES

We use your personal information to provide you with our products and services and other relevant information. We may also use this information to market our products and services to you, including by the SMS Services subject to your consent.

We may also use information collected from you and information collected from your device to send you abandoned cart reminders if you added items to your shopping cart but did not complete check out.

13. INFORMATION COLLECTED ABOUT YOU

Personal information we collect about you through your use of the SMS Services may include first name, last name, mobile number, address, email address and job title.

We may use cookies or similar technologies on our website or websites associated with the SMS Services to automatically collect your interactions with any URL links included in the Messages.

14. DISCLOSURE OF PERSONAL INFORMATION

We may use third-party service providers to assist us with providing and marketing our products and services to you, and we may disclose your information with such third parties for these purposes.

*  Notwithstanding anything set forth in this Privacy Policy, we do not share text message opt-in consents or related mobile telephone numbers with third parties, except with our service providers and vendors to provide the SMS Services.

We may update this Privacy Notice from time to time, and we will make such updates available on our Site. Please review our Privacy Notice periodically for changes. If we make material changes, we will endeavor to provide advance notice of such by email or through a notice on our Site.
